‘That Is Not True’ — NFL Insider Shuts Down ‘Bogus’ Conspiracy Theory Involving A.J. Brown, Jalen Hurts, And Haason Reddick

With some wild theories floating online, a veteran insider neutered the A.J. Brown and Haason Reddick beef making the rounds.

As soon as the June 1 deadline passed, the NFL underwent a myriad of changes. With a ton of trades in the pipeline, blockbuster moves for Myles Garrett and A.J. Brown took place. Still, the latter seemed like an inevitable move, especially with reports plaguing the offseason.

Following Brown’s public disagreement and comments about the Philadelphia Eagles, rumors of locker-room dissent circulated. However, one particular situation involving Jalen Hurts and Haason Reddick may have been overblown.

A.J. Brown’s Rumored Situation With Massage Therapist Wasn’t Real

Over the last couple of years, Brown has made his displeasure with the Eagles no secret. From the state of the offense to his general role on the team, he was even seen reading books on the sideline while the game was ongoing.

Even after his exit, the superstar wide receiver has taken snide shots at the organization and its players. At the same time, some absurd rumors have also made their way online. One such complication involved Brown with their quarterback and superstar defensive lineman.

The theory originated in 2023, when one user on X alleged that Brown and Reddick were allegedly both involved with the same massage therapist. Moreover, the user claimed that Hurts knew about the situation, but did not inform the three-time Pro Bowler.

Viewing the whole rumored situation as something he was removed from, Hurts wanted no part in the interaction. According to the theory, even Reddick’s trade to the New York Jets didn’t solve things, and Brown remained unsatisfied, leading to his poor attitude during their 2024 campaign.

However, Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network believes these theories were just gossip and didn’t substantiate anything real. Garafolo revealed that he spoke to Dom DiSandro, the Senior Advisor to the General Manager/Chief Security Officer/Head of Gameday Coaching Operations for the Eagles, and said, “Big Dom knows what’s happening in that building, and he was adamant that that is not true, that there is no truth.”

Big Dom, or Dom DiSandro, has his pulse on the organization and the locker room. And he made it clear that the trade wasn’t a result of the relationship drama.

“Haason Reddick is not an Eagle because Haason Reddick wanted a huge payday, and A.J. Brown is no longer an Eagle for reasons that have nothing to do with what is circulating online,” Garafolo added. “He could not have been more adamant, so that story is complete and utter bupkis.”

Unless any of the parties directly involved reveal the truth, it will remain a topic of internet speculation. But DiSandro is among the most trusted sources for everything related to Philadelphia.

So, the rumor might not amount to much for the time being. Instead, both the Eagles and Brown himself have to hope that they can embrace a new beginning and find success on their respective fronts.
