Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding is a highly anticipated event, and little by little details are emerging.
After months of speculation about the wedding venue, which is now rumored to be set in the heart of New York, the guest list is also quietly taking final shape.
Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Reportedly Inviting Over 1,000 Guests to Madison Square Garden Wedding
Kelce and Swift are reportedly set to take their vows in front of a massive crowd of more than 1,000 people at Madison Square Garden, according to TMZ.
According to its sources with direct knowledge of the event, the final guest count is expected to land somewhere between 1,100 and 1,200 people when the couple officially become husband and wife on July 3.
TMZ also had reported earlier that Karlie Kloss and Benson Boone were among the lucky ones to get invites, but Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh, aren’t so lucky due to a rift in the friendship. Fans can definitely expect to see the singer’s parents and her brother, Austin, by her side, plus Kelce’s parents, his older brother, Jason, and his wife, Kylie.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are reportedly getting snubbed as well, per one insider. The insider told Naughty But Nice, “They are not invited. Period. Taylor wants a drama-free day, and she no longer trusts Blake or Ryan.” This is apparently due to the fallout from the Justin Baldoni lawsuit.
While the guest list boasts a four-figure headcount, the logistics behind the scenes are being handled with the precision of a black-ops mission. To maintain absolute secrecy and prevent the leaks that traditionally plague high-profile celebrity weddings, Kelce and Swift have completely bypassed traditional paper invitations.
Insiders reveal that the couple has gone to great lengths to ensure privacy, choosing to communicate all wedding details with their A-list invitees strictly via encrypted text messages and personal phone calls.
Interestingly, for months, speculation swirled that the duo would tie the knot at Swift’s famous oceanfront estate in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. However, switching the venue to the heart of Manhattan offers a logistical advantage that no private beach can match: total control.

Madison Square Garden is an absolute fortress against the paparazzi. Because the arena features entirely enclosed, windowless architecture and highly restricted underground parking tunnels, guests will be able to enter and exit the venue entirely shielded from flashing cameras and converging crowds. Swift has also performed at MSG numerous times, so she has some strong ties to the venue.
Unsurprisingly, throwing a wedding for 1,200 of the world’s most recognizable people in the middle of Manhattan requires a massive security footprint. Plans are already underway involving both private security conglomerates and the New York Police Department.
With less than a month to go until July 3, the stage is officially set for an unforgettable NYC night where the worlds of sports and entertainment will collide like never before.
