The Los Angeles Rams were already the odds-on favorites to win the Super Bowl, and they have improved their chances of winning it by landed one of the greatest defenders of this generation in Myles Garrett. After much anticipation, Sean McVay’s camp was the lucky winner in the Garrett sweepstakes, adding another impact player on a defense that’s already loaded with talent. Garrett’s agent, for one, is thrilled.
Nicole Lynn Is Fired Up About Browns Trading Myles Garrett to the Rams
Garrett was famously unhappy with the Cleveland Browns due to the franchise’s lack of success. While he was rumored to be on the move last year, a move finally materialized on Monday, as he was traded to the Rams. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year will get a fair chance of competing for the Super Bowl for the first time in his career, and his agent, Nicole Lynn, is fired up about the move.
“F them picks,” she humorously wrote on X in a nod to how LA gave up a haul of draft capital, including a 2027 first-round pick, for Garrett.
The Rams also parted ways with Pro Bowl EDGE Jared Verse, who was the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2024. Receiving Verse provides the Browns’ defense with some relief, as the unit is left with no star pass rusher in Garrett’s absence. Verse booked an 86.3 PFSN EDGE Impact Score in 2025.
F them picks. 😜

The trade reaffirms how the Rams are in win-now mode, with MVP quarterback Matthew Stafford entering the final seasons of his career. As the franchise still has one of the best quarterbacks in the league under center, it’s aiming to go big while Stafford is still calling the shots.
The addition of Garrett adds to that sentiment, with LA now boasting a star-studded defense that has more than four Super Bowl rings among the active players. The front office went all-out early in the offseason, acquiring two-time Super Bowl champions Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson.
The cornerbacks will feature in a rockstar defense that further includes safeties Quentin Lake and Kam Curl, EDGE Byron Young, and corner Emmanuel Forbes, among others. With Garrett now on the defensive line as well, opposing offenses will have a hard time game-planning for the Rams.

In addition to Garrett and Young, LA has a third elite pass rusher in Kobie Turner, allowing the unit to comfortably control the line of scrimmage. In return, McDuffie and company should have an easy job of containing receivers.
The NFL community is buzzing on the heels of the $160 million star’s move to LA, and it only adds to the excitement surrounding the Rams ahead of the new season.
