Frances Tiafoe unintentionally interrupted his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield’s shopping day. The social media influencer was shopping at Lululemon for Coachella when she spotted a large picture of the former world No. 10 in the store.
Tiafoe became Lululemon’s brand ambassador in January 2025, making him only the second tennis player to represent the Canadian athletic wear and lifestyle apparel company, following Leylah Fernandez.
Frances Tiafoe’s Girlfriend Ayan Broomfield Spots Him in an Unusual Place While Shopping for Coachella
Tiafoe and Broomfield have been in a relationship for more than a decade, having been dating since 2015. Broomfield is not only a social media fashion influencer but also a former professional tennis player. She competed for Clemson University and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), making her WTA Tour doubles debut at the 2014 Coupe Banque Nationale.
Recently, Broomfield took to social media and shared that before heading to Coachella, a music and arts festival in California, she stopped by Lululemon to pick up some essentials. While she was shopping, she noticed a large black-and-white display featuring Tiafoe, which humorously interrupted her shopping spree.
“Stopped by @lululemon to grab some last minute undergarments for Coachella and look who it is 🥰,” Broomfield captioned her Instagram story.

On the tennis side of things, Tiafoe began his run on the clay court swing of the tour at the 2026 U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships. He was seeded second at the tournament and began his campaign in the second round after a first-round bye.
In his opening match, the former world No. 10 defeated Rinky Hijikata with a score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, and followed that by eliminating Alexei Popyrin in the quarterfinals (3-6, 6-4, 7-6(6)). His run ended in the semifinals against eventual champion, fourth seed Tommy Paul, who won 7-5, 4-6, 7-6(7).
Tiafoe was scheduled to compete in the 2026 Monte-Carlo Masters; however, he withdrew and was replaced by lucky loser Ethan Quinn. Looking ahead, he is expected to participate in the 2026 Madrid Open, which will take place from April 21 to May 3, 2026. The matches for this tournament will be played on outdoor clay courts at Parque Manzanares in Madrid, Spain.
In addition to Tiafoe, players like Jannik Sinner, Alex de Minaur, Lorenzo Musetti, Taylor Fritz, defending champion Casper Ruud, and former champions Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Andrey Rublev, and Alexander Zverev are also expected to participate in the ATP Masters 1000 clay-court tournament.
Last year, Tiafoe was seeded 16th at the Madrid Open and began his campaign in the second round after a first-round bye. He advanced to the third round when his opponent, Luciano Darderi, withdrew from the match with the score at 7-5, 3-1 (retd). In the third round, Tiafoe defeated Alexandre Müller (6-3, 6-3) before losing to Matteo Arnaldi (3-6, 5-7) in the fourth round.
