Jason Kelce’s Five-Word Reaction to Cooper DeJean Dating Rumors

DeJean returned to support his alma mater during the NCAA men’s Elite Eight matchup on Saturday, where No. 9 Iowa fell to No. 3 Illinois in Houston, ending the Hawkeyes’ run short of the Final Four. While DeJean was there to cheer on his team, he quickly became part of the story himself.

The 23-year-old was spotted in the stands alongside Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Abby Summers, a pairing that immediately sparked speculation online. Summers, a two-year veteran of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad and a former Ohio State cheerleader, has built a strong social media presence and was also featured on Netflix’s “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.”

Neither DeJean nor Summers has publicly addressed the rumors, but that hasn’t stopped fans or former players from weighing in. Eagles legend Kelce joined the conversation with a tongue-in-cheek comment, writing, “He’s pulling a Trojan Horse.”

This isn’t the first time DeJean’s personal life has drawn attention. Earlier in the season, he was loosely linked to WWE star Nikki Bella, though she later shut down the speculation amid backlash over their age difference. DeJean was also seen with a different companion at a Super Bowl party, though many believe that may have been Summers as well.

On the field, however, DeJean’s rise has been undeniable. Over 30 games across three seasons with Iowa, he accumulated 120 tackles, 0 sacks, 7 interceptions, 3 pick-sixes, and 13 passes defended. In his final year, he was also named an All-American.

After three years, he declared for the 2024 NFL Draft and was taken with the 40th overall pick in the second round. Over two seasons, he’s played in 32 regular-season games, where he’s recorded 2 interceptions, 22 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, 144 combined tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 2 quarterback hits, and 0.5 sacks.

With his profile continuing to rise, it’s no surprise that DeJean’s life off the field is starting to attract just as much attention as his performance on it.
