Ben Shelton’s sister, Emma Shelton, recently enjoyed a sushi outing in Miami, Florida, with her friends. Pictures from this outing drew a reaction from her brother’s girlfriend, American professional soccer player Trinity Rodman.
Ben Shelton and Rodman publicly confirmed their relationship in March 2025. Rodman plays as a forward for the United States national team and the Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
Trinity Rodman Reacts to Emma Shelton’s Miami Sushi Date
Like Ben, Emma, 25, also has a background in collegiate tennis, having competed for the University of South Carolina and the University of Florida. She holds a business degree from the University of Florida and works at Morgan Stanley, an American multinational investment bank and financial services company.
Despite her work commitments, Emma often manages to travel around the world to support her brother.
Recently, Emma shared a series of pictures from her outings in Miami on social media. She posted photos of herself in a white slip dress and a sleeveless leopard-print dress. The images featured locations such as Joia Beach Miami, an upscale waterfront restaurant, and Amazónico Miami, where she posed with her friends, along with photos of sushi and other highlights.

Reacting to Emma’s Miami outing pictures, Rodman commented four heart-eyes emojis.
“😍 😍 😍 😍,” Rodman commented.

On the tennis side of things, Shelton most recently concluded his run at the 2026 Miami Open. He was seeded eighth at the tournament and began his campaign in the second round after receiving a first-round bye.
In his opening match against Alexander Shevchenko, Shelton won the first set 7-6(3). However, Shevchenko made a comeback, winning the next two sets and securing the match with a scoreline of 6-7(3), 7-6(3), 6-3.

Looking ahead, Shelton is expected to compete at the 2026 U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships, scheduled for March 30 to April 5, 2026. The tournament matches will be held on the outdoor clay courts at the River Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas.
In addition to the former world No. 5, players like Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul, Learner Tien, Reilly Opelka, Alex Michelsen, Brandon Nakashima, and defending champion Jenson Brooksby, among others, are also expected to compete at the ATP 250 clay court tournament.
Shelton’s best result at the U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships came in 2024. He was the top seed and began his campaign in the second round after a first-round bye. He defeated Zizou Bergs (3-6, 6-4, 6-3) in his opening match and then overcame Nakashima (7-5, 7-6(9)) in the quarterfinals.
Shelton advanced to the final by triumphing over fourth seed Tomás Martín Etcheverry (6-7(4), 6-4, 6-4) in the semifinals. In the championship match, he defeated the defending champion and third seed, Tiafoe (7-5, 4-6, 6-3), to win the tournament, claiming his second career ATP Tour title and his first title on clay.
