Serena Williams, flaunting a stunning gown while dancing her heart out, drew a reaction from American artistic gymnast Simone Biles.

Over the years, Serena Williams and American artistic gymnast Simone Biles have shown that they share a special friendship. Recently, the 23-time singles Grand Slam champion posted a video of herself dancing in a stunning gown, which drew a reaction from Biles.

Biles is considered one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, having won 11 Olympic medals for the United States, including seven golds, two silvers, and two bronzes. The 28-year-old also secured 30 World Championship medals, comprising 23 golds, four silvers, and three bronzes.

Serena Williams Dancing in a Stunning Gown Draws Reaction From Simone Biles

In her recent social media post, Williams shared a video of herself dancing in a stylish light blue satin corset gown. She styled her hair down, wore minimal jewelry, and complemented her look with long red nails. Accompanying the video was the “Dancing Machine” song by the Jackson 5, and the 23-time singles Grand Slam champion playfully referred to herself as a “dancing machine.”

“She’s a dancing, dancing, dancing…She’s a dancing machine,” Williams captioned her Instagram post.

Biles reacted to Williams’ post by commenting with four fire emojis, expressing her admiration for the tennis legend.

“🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥,” Biles commented.

On the tennis side of things, Williams turned professional in 1995 and retired in 2022 after competing at the US Open where she defeated Danka Kovinić and Anett Kontaveit in the first two rounds, respectively, before being eliminated by Ajla Tomljanović in the third round.

Throughout her career, Williams won a total of 39 Grand Slam titles: 23 in singles, 14 in Grand Slam doubles alongside her sister Venus Williams, and two mixed doubles titles with Max Mirnyi. The 44-year-old also held the No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles in the WTA rankings and won four Olympic gold medals for the United States–one in singles and three in doubles alongside Venus.

In December 2025, Williams’ name appeared on the International Tennis Integrity Agency’s (ITIA) anti-doping testing pool list, sparking rumors about a possible return to professional tennis. Initially, Williams stated on social media that she was “not coming back” to the WTA Tour.

However, during an appearance on the TODAY show, Williams remained mysterious about her return. Despite the ongoing speculation surrounding her comeback, her name appeared as reinstated on the ITIA website as of Feb. 22, 2026.
