Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, Amanda Anisimova, and Others Steal the Spotlight With Glamor at Dubai Players’ Party

Gauff began her 2026 season at the Australian Open as the third seed and advanced to the quarterfinals before bowing out in straight sets to Elina Svitolina. Her momentum, however, did not carry into the WTA 1000 event in Doha, where she suffered a second-round exit, falling to Elisabetta Cocciaretto.

Rybakina opened her season with a quarterfinal run in Brisbane before making history by capturing her second Grand Slam title at the Australian Open. However, her momentum stalled in Doha, where she fell to Victoria Mboko in the Qatar Open quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, Amanda Anisimova opened her season at the Brisbane International, where she exited in the second round. She raised her level at the Australian Open, advancing to the quarterfinals before falling in straight sets to Jessica Pegula. Her return to Doha proved disappointing, as the American was unable to defend her title and handed a second-round walkover to Karolína Plíšková.

Nonetheless, the trio will aim to make a strong statement at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. Before shifting their focus to competition, they attended the players’ party held ahead of the event, joining several other stars, including World No. 7 Mirra Andreeva, World No. 13 Belinda Bencic, and Romanian standout Sorana Cîrstea.

Elena Rybakina opted for a more subtle look, pairing a black top with blue jeans for a sleek, minimal finish. In contrast, Gauff delivered a refined ensemble, wearing a white V-neck top, a flowing black skirt, and a dark brown oversized jacket that completed the look. Meanwhile, Anisimova chose a sleeveless halter-style black top matched with high-waisted, wide-leg trousers, accessorizing with a bracelet and a scarf to elevate the outfit.

During the event, Anisimova shared that she was in Dubai for the vibe. Meanwhile, Sorana Cîrstea praised the food and overall atmosphere of the evening, while Bencic highlighted the simple joy of dressing up and stepping away from the usual on-court attire for the night.

“I love fashion, and just getting ready and putting on makeup is something I enjoy doing,” said Anisimova later in the clip.

There was plenty to celebrate, with several leading names in attendance. However, the event will proceed without its two biggest attractions, Aryna Sabalenka and Iga ÅšwiÄ…tek, who recently opted out. ÅšwiÄ…tek cited scheduling adjustments as the reason behind her decision, while Sabalenka revealed she was not fully fit.
