In addition to Gauff, Anisimova, Rybakina, Świątek, and Zheng, players such as Mirra Andreeva, Jasmine Paolini, Elina Svitolina, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Linda Nosková, Victoria Mboko, Clara Tauson, Emma Navarro, Liudmila Samsonova, Karolína Muchová, Diana Shnaider, and Elise Mertens will also compete at the 2026 Qatar Open.

Anisimova will defend her title at the WTA 1000 hard-court tournament, having won in 2025 by defeating Jeļena Ostapenko in the final. Świątek has captured the title three times: in 2022, 2023, and 2024, defeating Anett Kontaveit, Jessica Pegula, and Rybakina in those championship matches, respectively.

Ahead of the main draw matches, players including Gauff, Anisimova, Rybakina, Świątek, Zheng, and Zeynep Sönmez attended the Qatar Open players’ party.

Gauff wore a red dress and carried a black nappa leather pocket shoulder bag from Miu Miu. The former World No. 2 collaborated with the Italian fashion house on several projects in 2025. She paired her outfit with golden heels, minimal jewelry, and styled her hair in an updo, accessorizing with a sleek watch.

Defending champion Anisimova chose a women’s solid black double-breasted blazer paired with a white mini skirt, leaving her hair down.

Rybakina, entering the Qatar Open after winning her second Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, wore a long-sleeved black shirt, high-waisted bootcut jeans, and white sneakers.

Three-time Qatar Open champion Świątek wore a sleeveless black dress, stylish jewelry, and completed her look with a sleek watch.

Zheng donned a Maje cut-out embellished black dress and carried a small tweed Macrocannage Caro crossbody bag from Christian Dior.

Sönmez opted for a simpler look, wearing a V-neck top, minimal jewelry, and styling her hair down.

Gauff, Anisimova, Rybakina, and Świątek are seeded players at the 2026 Qatar Open and will begin their campaigns in the second round after receiving first-round byes. Zheng will play her first professional match since September 2025, and Sönmez has received a wildcard entry into the main draw of the WTA 1000 hard-court tournament.
