Being by a partner’s side at tennis’s grandest events can occasionally backfire, and Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle found herself on the receiving end. The well-known influencer, who regularly travels with Fritz on tour, disclosed that she endured “debilitating” jet lag after flying back from the Australian Open.

Morgan Riddle Shares Health Update After Accompanying Taylor Fritz to the Australian Open

Riddle, a prominent social media influencer with a keen interest in fashion, has become a constant presence in Fritz’s professional journey. The couple met on the exclusive dating app Raya in 2020 and have been together ever since, frequently sharing glimpses of their lives online.

Their relationship has attracted significant attention, with Riddle often documenting her globe-trotting experiences as she travels alongside the American on tour. Fritz’s most recent appearance came at the 2026 Australian Open, where Riddle accompanied him.

After navigating past Valentin Royer of France and Czechia’s Vít Kopřiva in the opening rounds, the World No. 7 advanced to the third round, where he defeated three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka in the Swiss veteran’s final outing at Melbourne Park. His run was eventually halted by fifth seed Lorenzo Musetti, who claimed a straight-sets win.

Despite Riddle’s supportive presence in Australia proving valuable for Fritz, the journey back to the United States took a significant toll on her. Taking to Instagram, Riddle shared a mirror selfie and revealed that she endured a five-day bout of jet lag, describing it as both “diabolical” and “debilitating.” She admitted that the experience made her reconsider traveling in the same manner.

“Proof of life after 5 days of the most diabolical debilitating jet lag i have ever had. getting prescribed something cause i can’t do this anymore!!!!” she said.

MORE: Taylor Fritz’s Girlfriend Morgan Gets Honest About ‘Misogyny,’ Independence and the Reality of Being a Tennis WAG

Riddle’s frequent presence at tournaments has placed her under increased public scrutiny, reigniting conversations around the “WAG” label often attached to athletes’ partners. Speaking to Elle last month, she shared an unfiltered perspective on navigating that reality.

“I think because I started social media very publicly declaring myself as a WAG, I never wanted to attach any negative connotations to that word, and I kind of played around with the disdain that people had for it. There’s still a lot of misogyny around that acronym that a lot of other women and I, who are partners of athletes, have been trying to change,” she said.

Riddle’s latest Instagram update has cast doubt on how extensively she will travel with Fritz going forward, especially with a demanding stretch of the season still looming for the World No. 7. Following an underwhelming Australian Open campaign, Fritz will be determined to make his mark in the upcoming events.
