Bianca Andreescu celebrated her latest milestone in the most personal way, posing with her adorable pet and a gleaming trophy after sealing her second ITF title of the 2026 season.
Fresh off a commanding straight-sets victory at the ITF W75 Vero Beach, the former US Open champion offered fans a feel-good moment that matched the substance of her on-court resurgence.
A Strategic Reset on the ITF Circuit Sets the Tone for Bianca Andreescu’s 2026 Revival
Andreescu’s Florida swing has been one of the more compelling early-season storylines in women’s tennis. After closing 2025 ranked No. 227 and enduring a year marked by early exits on the WTA Tour, she made a calculated decision to reset.
Skipping the Australian Open, Andreescu committed to rebuilding through the ITF Circuit. The approach has paid off quickly. A title at the W35 in Bradenton, a semifinal run at the W35 in Weston, and now the W75 crown in Vero Beach have turned her opening weeks of 2026 into a statement of intent.
After lifting her second ITF trophy of the year, Andreescu shared the milestone with her followers on social media. She reposted a photo on her Instagram stories showing herself holding the Vero Beach trophy, proudly celebrating the moment. Tennis Canada later posted an image of Andreescu smiling alongside her pet dog and the trophy.

The Vero Beach final underlined just how sharp Andreescu has looked. She defeated You Xiaodi 7-5, 6-1 to complete an outstanding week on clay, closing the tournament without dropping a set in her final four matches.
Earlier in January, she lifted the Bradenton title with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Vivian Wolff, a victory that carried emotional weight as her first professional singles trophy since her breakthrough US Open run in 2019.
What Did Andreescu Say About Her Journey After Clinching Her First ITF Trophy of the Year?
Andreescu snapped a nearly seven-year title drought by winning the ITF W35 event in Bradenton, dropping just one set in five matches.
Opening her 2026 season there, the former World No. 4 survived a three-set first-round test against Malkia Ngounoue before rolling past Ella McDonald, Tatiana Pieri, Lea Ma, and Vivian Wolff to claim the title, with her relief and joy clear in her post-match comments.
“Super happy to be here.. I haven’t won a tournament in a really long time so this one definitely means a lot… hasn’t been an easy journey, but yeah, this one is very special to me so I am very happy that I came,” Andreescu said.
Across those results, Andreescu has opened the season with a 13-1 record, climbing 66 spots in the rankings to No. 162. More than the numbers, the steady accumulation of wins has restored a sense of belief that was missing during a difficult 2025.
