A.J. Brown Landing Spots: 5 Teams That Should Trade for the Eagles Star This Offseason

Following a Wild Card exit and heated exchange with Nick Sirianni, what is in store for A.J. Brown's future in a Philadelphia Eagles uniform?

What should have been a routine postseason exit for the Philadelphia Eagles has instead opened the door to one of the league’s most intriguing offseason storylines. In the aftermath of Philadelphia’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers, A.J. Brown found himself at the center of attention for a move that has created widespread trade speculation.

A.J. Brown’s Interaction With Nick Sirianni During the Eagles’ Loss

Brown was seen in a heated exchange with head coach Nick Sirianni during the game, and when it ended, the star wideout embraced teammates one by one before quietly leaving the field. Notably absent afterward was Brown’s voice, as he declined to speak with the media, a decision that only amplified the uncertainty surrounding his future in Philadelphia.

Neither Brown nor the Eagles has acknowledged any internal divide, and his production hardly suggests dissatisfaction with his role. Yet the NFL isn’t always driven by numbers alone, and timing matters just as much as talent.

Here are five teams that could trade for Brown before the 2026 season.

Baltimore Ravens

There has been considerable discussion about Lamar Jackson’s need for a true WR1 in Baltimore, especially given the many unsuccessful attempts to fill this role during his tenure as a two-time MVP. Despite Zay Flowers achieving back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, the Ravens’ offense still seems to lack a game-changing wide receiver. Introducing Brown could potentially resolve this issue.

Adding a physical field stretcher like Brown to an already star-studded offense could be the missing piece that helps Jackson and the Ravens make a deep playoff run. With Harbaugh fired, the new regime may be motivated to find a new weapon to enhance the Baltimore offense.

Buffalo Bills

It’s no secret that Josh Allen has been in desperate need of a true WR1 since the Buffalo Bills traded away Stefon Diggs in 2024. Many games have hinged on Allen having to step up significantly due to the lack of quality in his receiving corps, which places extra wear and tear on the franchise quarterback.

Adding a consistent 1,000-yard receiver like Brown would significantly elevate the Bills’ offense and improve the overall talent of the receiving group.

In six out of his seven seasons in the league, Brown has produced over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns, no matter what quarterback is put on the field, a true testament to his skill at the position. Pairing Brown up with an elite quarterback like Allen could take his career to new heights he may have never seen if he stays in Philadelphia.

Las Vegas Raiders

As the Las Vegas Raiders are in the midst of an offensive rebuild, with the potential acquisition of a quarterback through the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, it would be smart for the organization to consider the possibility of acquiring Brown should he become available.

Integrating a veteran receiver into a young offense would not only fulfill Brown’s need for increased receptions but would also provide essential veteran leadership within the locker room, as he has proven his ability to succeed at the highest levels of the NFL. As it stands, Las Vegas does not have a true WR1 nor a receiver worth boasting about next season outside of their rising star tight end, Brock Bowers.

Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert is somewhat similar to Josh Allen in that both quarterbacks often need to be the standout players for their teams due to a lack of offensive weapons. Herbert has found some success with slot receiver Ladd McConkey, but the decline in production this season raises concerns about the future of the passing game.

With Keenan Allen set to become a free agent and Quentin Johnston unlikely to be re-signed, questions loom about the team’s offensive capabilities. Trading for Brown not only beefs up the receiving room but also gives Herbert another star in the league to work with, something he has only seen glimpses of during his time in the league.

Tennessee Titans

Is it time for Brown to head back to the place he once called home? After moving from Tennessee to Philadelphia, he experienced the joy of a Super Bowl victory. However, growing concerns about his lack of touches in the Eagles’ offense have surfaced. It might be worth considering a return to Tennessee, where he could be the WR1 for their young quarterback, Cam Ward.

Ward possesses all the qualities needed to become a true star in the league; however, the lack of support from his teammates in Tennessee during his rookie season hindered his ability to shine. Reacquiring Brown could not only address the receiver’s need for more opportunities in games, but it could also aid in Ward’s development as a quarterback.

Contract Concerns

With four years and $113 million left on his deal, including significant guarantees looming, Brown’s contract presents the Eagles with a complex financial crossroads. A trade before June 1 would saddle Philadelphia with massive dead money, while a post–June 1 move could actually create breathing room.

Nothing is imminent, but the circumstances are impossible to ignore, and suddenly, the idea of A.J. Brown as a trade candidate no longer feels far-fetched.
