Who Are Carson Beck’s Parents?

Beck’s father is Chris Beck, a retired Navy officer and former college football player who started at linebacker for the Navy Midshipmen for three seasons. He spent a decade coaching his son in youth football in Jacksonville, Florida, and continues to be one of his biggest supporters.

Beck’s mother, Tracy, previously worked as an NBA cheerleader for the Washington Bullets and is now a kindergarten teacher in Duval County, Florida. She has consistently provided emotional support throughout her son’s career, including during a difficult time when he was competing with Gunner Stockton for Georgia’s starting quarterback role.

“It was just one of those moments, and he got through it,” Tracy told Dawg Nation. “I just said, ‘Carson, you’ve wanted this your whole life,’ and I don’t remember what truly happened. He might have just had a bad practice if I remember correctly.

“He said, ‘Tell me one more time what you said at the very end last night.’ I just said, ‘Carson, go for it. You’ve had this dream your whole life. You’ve got this. I don’t know anyone else that perseveres more than you do,’ and that was it.”

Chris and Tracy are divorced, but both remain actively involved in Beck’s football journey and regularly attend his games.

Who Is Carson Beck’s Sister?

Kylie Beck is a former cheerleader at the University of Georgia. She left the school to support her brother after he transferred to Miami, demonstrating the close bond between the siblings.

Kylie has long been one of her brother’s most prominent supporters and frequently attends his games. She has consistently praised Carson’s football intelligence, describing how he naturally recognizes patterns and pieces the game together like a puzzle.

According to Kylie, the Miami star always knows where to throw the ball or when to hand it off, and everything seems to click for him on the field.

“He really is confident in his ability and his team’s ability,” Kylie said during Carson’s time at Georgia. “He just knows they are all going to go out there and just do their best.”

What is Beck’s Ethnicity?

Beck is an American and appears to be white, but details about his specific ethnic background have not been publicly disclosed.

Where Did Beck Go to High School?

Beck began his high school career at Providence School in Jacksonville, Florida, where he played two seasons and threw for 994 yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore.

Beck later transferred to Mandarin High School in Jacksonville and made history by leading the program to its first-ever state championship in 2018. In his junior season, he completed 209 of 356 passes for 3,546 yards, 39 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.

His standout performance earned him multiple honors, including Mr. Football, the Times-Union All-First Coast Offensive Player of the Year, and a spot on the MaxPreps Junior All-American second team.

As a senior, Beck passed for 1,843 yards and 20 touchdowns on 136 completions, while also adding 167 rushing yards and six rushing scores. Over his two seasons at Mandarin, he totaled 5,389 passing yards and 59 touchdown passes.

“Very level,” Mandarin coach Bobby Ramsay said about Beck in 2019. “The same kid every day. He didn’t waver as far as how he handled his emotions. He doesn’t really show his frustrations.”

Beck finished his high school career as a four-star recruit, ranked No. 248 nationally and the No. 9 pro-style quarterback in the 247Sports composite rankings.
