Home favorite Kimberly Birrell will take on second seed Amanda Anisimova, who enters 2026 determined to build on the success she achieved last year. The American reached two Grand Slam finals in 2025 and will look to go one better this time around. A strong performance in Brisbane could go a long way in helping her find her stride again before the Australian Open.

Talented Americans Learner Tien and Alex Michelsen will go head-to-head on Show Court 2 in another highly anticipated encounter.
Several exciting doubles matches are also scheduled to take place on Wednesday, one of them being Aryna Sabalenka and Paula Badosa taking on Cristina Bucșa and Ellen Perez.
