After lifting his award at the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the Portuguese veteran took to social media to celebrate and offer gratitude to his supporters.

In less than an hour, Musk responded to the Al-Nassr captain’s win as the Best Middle East Player on X. The X Chairman, who is the wealthiest person in the world, posted an emoji of a trophy.

Ronaldo Makes Saudi Pro League Title Admission After 3–0 Win

Earlier on Saturday, December 27, Ronaldo registered two goals in the first half of Al-Nassr’s 3-0 Saudi Pro League win over Al-Akhdoud. His goals helped his team maintain top place in the league standings with 30 points, four more than second-placed Al-Hilal, from 10 matches.

During a post-match interaction, Ronaldo insisted that the league title is still up for grabs.

“The league is not decided yet and we must focus on the upcoming matches. The competition is still long but we are on the right track. Today, we played a great match against Al-Akhdoud, who tried to prevent us from scoring, but we scored three goals, and no one wins the league halfway through,” the five-time Ballon d’Or award winner said (via Kooora).

Ronaldo concluded, “I think we didn’t feel the absence of Sadio Mane or Mohamed Simakan because we have a great group of players in different positions and I thank everyone who contributed to achieving this victory. Injuries and pressure are part of football and we have to live with these things. We must recover because in the coming period, we will face many difficult challenges.”

The Portuguese striker, whose current Al-Nassr contract will run out in June 2027, will next be in action in his club’s Saudi Pro League away contest at Al-Ettifaq on Tuesday, Dec. 30.
