Taylor Fritz’s Son Makes a Rare Appearance As the Father-Son Duo Unwrap Gifts Together

Taylor Fritz celebrated the holiday season with loved ones, enjoying Christmas and unwrapping gifts with his eight-year-old son, Jordan.

Taylor Fritz spent the holiday season with family, recently sharing how he celebrated Christmas with his son, Jordan. The former World No. 4 became a father at just 19 after Jordan was born in January 2017.

Fritz married fellow tennis player Raquel Pedraza in 2016, welcomed their son the following year, and later divorced in 2019. Pedraza, who competed on the WTA and ITF circuits, stepped away from professional tennis after injuries and the birth of their child.

Taylor Fritz and His Son Jordan Spend Christmas Together

Recently, Fritz took to social media to share a couple of images of himself and Jordan sitting on the ground surrounded by presents on Christmas morning as they opened their gifts.

In one of the pictures, the former World No. 4 was seen unwrapping a 2025 Panini Donruss Baseball Mega Box, which is a pack of trading cards. In another photo, Jordan was seen wearing a couple of paper crowns while Fritz looked at him affectionately.

“Happy holidays from the Fritz boys 🎄 🎁,” Fritz captioned his Instagram post.

Speaking about Jordan, Fritz said, “With my son, I’ve definitely given him (tennis) lessons. I’d love to be the tennis coach. But with all the travel, with tennis, I’m just not there yet. He’s pretty unimpressed by me being number four in the world.”

On the tennis side of things, this year, Fritz won four titles: the 2025 United Cup with Team USA, the BOSS Open in Stuttgart, the Eastbourne Open, and the Laver Cup with Team World. He also finished as the runner-up at the Japan Open Tennis Championships and reached the semifinals at the Miami Open and the Canadian Open.

Taylor Fritz To Begin 2026 Season by Competing at the United Cup

Just like he did this year, Fritz is set to kick off his 2026 season by representing the United States of America at the United Cup, which will take place from January 2 to January 11, 2026, in Perth and Sydney, Australia. The American team is placed in Group A alongside Argentina and Spain, with their group matches scheduled to be held in Perth.

Team America will enter the tournament as the defending champion, having won the title for the second time in 2025 by defeating Team Poland in the final. They also won the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2023 by beating Italy in the final. Fritz was part of the American team in both editions, in which they claimed the title.

In addition to the former World No. 4, Team USA at the 2026 United Cup will feature Coco Gauff, Varvara Lepchenko, Mackenzie McDonald, Christian Harrison, and Nicole Melichar-Martinez, with Michael Russell as the captain.
