But while the loss stung on the field, there was still a win in the Goff household, as his wife, Christen, shared a special Christmas present their daughter, Romy, had received.
Christen Harper Reveals the ‘Cutest’ Present
Harper took to her Instagram story to share with fans the ‘cutest’ Christmas outfit Romy received from her Aunt Haley.
Harper posted an image of Romy in the outfit with this caption: “@haleygravess got her the cutest Christmas outfit from Spain.”
A teary-eyed emoji followed the caption.
But who is Haley? Lions fans might recognize the name from another chapter in Detroit’s recent past. Haley Graves is the ex of former Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds. Yep, same Haley.
Because of that Lions connection, Haley and Christen Goff have known each other for a while now. Their friendship didn’t fade after Reynolds moved on, either, with the two continuing to interact regularly across social media.
Haley was even spotlighted by the “Women of the NFL” Instagram page back in January 2023, when she was still Reynolds’ significant other. It was a reminder that the NFL WAG world is smaller and more connected than it looks from the outside.
That connection resurfaced this week when Christen shared photos celebrating five months of baby Romy Isabelle Goff. What started as a sweet family moment quickly turned into a full-blown WAG appreciation session in the comments.

Seattle Seahawks receiver Cooper Kupp’s wife, Anna Marie Kupp, stole the spotlight with, “A more perfect duo has never existed,” high praise considering Seattle is battling Detroit in the playoff race. Olivia Culpo, wife of 49ers star Christian McCaffrey, followed with a simple but telling, “playdate soon!”
Even beyond football, the love poured in. MLB pitcher Shane Bieber’s wife, Kara Maxine Bieber, added, “These photos are so breathtaking! The sweetest duo.” What began as a simple baby milestone quickly turned into a cross-sport, cross-team WAG moment.
Meanwhile, it’s a period of reflection for the Lions following their playoff elimination. With the season winding down, the focus shifts to family and perspective. For Jared, that means leaning on Christen and Romy after a heartbreaking Week 17 loss, as Detroit looks to finish the year strong in its Week 18 matchup against the Bears.
