What Is the Halftime Show at Chiefs-Broncos? Get To Know the NFL Christmas Game’s Performer

With the Chiefs-Broncos Christmas clash, fans will also be treated to a special halftime show as part of the festivities.

Christmas Day football always comes with a little extra spectacle, and tonight’s Chiefs-Broncos showdown isn’t just about what happens between the lines. With Kansas City (6-9) hosting Denver (12-3) in a heated AFC rivalry, the on-field stakes are obvious, but the entertainment slate is quietly stealing the spotlight, too.

Get To Know the Halftime Performer at the Chiefs-Broncos

After Brianna Yancey and Mikaela Ayira handle business with the National Anthem, the Chiefs aim to continue the festive vibes into halftime with a tried-and-tested formula, which the Kansas City Symphony will lead.

They are one of the top 25 orchestras in the United States and a cultural staple since 1982. Joining them on the field will be familiar Chiefs staples, including KC Wolf, Chiefs Rumble, the Chiefs Cheerleaders, and Chiefs Flag Runners, turning the break into a full-stadium celebration rather than just a musical set.

The Symphony made noise ahead of Super Bowl LIX, teaming up with Kansas City rap icon Tech N9ne to perform “Red Kingdom,” a Chiefs anthem that quickly went viral. The collaboration was a direct response to the Philadelphia Orchestra posting their rendition of the Eagles’ fight song.

And that wasn’t the first time, either. The Symphony and the Arrowhead go way back. They previously performed the National Anthem at the Chiefs’ 2015 home opener, proving they know how to deliver when the Chiefs Kingdom is watching.

Chiefs-Broncos Preview

The AFC West script has flipped heading into Christmas night at Arrowhead. Denver arrives with everything on the line: a division title within reach and a potential No. 1 seed still in play.

Meanwhile, Kansas City is fighting to stay upright. The Broncos know a win, paired with a Chargers slip, could seal it, even after last week’s 34-20 stumble against the Jaguars snapped their 11-game surge.

Kansas City, on the other hand, is limping into the rivalry with a battered roster and a third-string quarterback. Injuries have wiped out Patrick Mahomes, Gardner Minshew, multiple linemen, key corners, and their top wideout, leaving Chris Oladokun set for his first career start. Still, Arrowhead remains Arrowhead, and the Chiefs insist pride, fans, and rivalry fuel haven’t gone anywhere.

Denver will lean on Bo Nix’s steady approach, Sean Payton’s urgency, and a defense headlined by Pro Bowler Patrick Surtain II. Kansas City counters with the Chiefs Kingdom’s passion behind them, Travis Kelce’s looming uncertainty, and the belief that rivalry games ignore records, especially on Christmas night.
