Ahead of the start of her 2026 season, Coco Gauff was seen showcasing her new hairstyle. She recently revealed that she has experimented with dyeing her braids a bold color for the first time.
Gauff finished her 2025 season after competing in the WTA Finals. Suring the year, she won the United Cup with Team USA, the French Open, the Wuhan Open, and secured the doubles title at the Canadian Open alongside McCartney Kessler.
Coco Gauff Flaunts New Burnt Orange Braids Ahead of 2026 Season
Gauff is known for styling her own natural hair and has sported a variety of fashionable looks during tournaments. In the past, she has worn different types of braids and even flaunted honey blonde braids during the 2024 Wimbledon Championships and more.
Recently, Gauff took to social media to share a mirror selfie where she is seen wearing a graphic t-shirt of the legendary rock band AC/DC. In the photo, she flaunted her new long, burnt orange braids, mentioning that she tried the color for the first time and has become “obsessed” with it.
“first time trying this color, I’m obsessed!!!” Gauff captioned her Instagram story.

It’s worth noting that Gauff is sponsored by Carol’s Daughter, a New York-based hair care brand. In 2024, she signed a multi-year partnership with Carol’s Daughter, marking her first brand sponsorship deal with a beauty company.
Gauff to Next Compete at the 2026 United Cup
Looking ahead, Gauff will begin her 2026 season by representing the United States of America at the United Cup, which will be taking place from Jan. 2 to Jan. 11, 2026, in Australia. The matches of the tournament will be held at the RAC Arena in Perth and the Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney.
In addition to the United States, other countries participating in the 2026 United Cup include Argentina, Spain, Canada, Belgium, China, Italy, France, Switzerland, the host country Australia, the Czech Republic, Norway, Great Britain, Greece, debutants Japan, Poland, the Netherlands, and former champions Germany.
Along with the former world No. 2, Team USA will feature Taylor Fritz, Mackenzie McDonald, Nicole Melichar-Martinez, Christian Harrison, and Varvara Lepchenko, with Michael Russell serving as the captain. They have been placed in Group A alongside Argentina and Spain, and will play their group matches in Perth.
Next year, during the group stage at the 2026 United Cup, Gauff will face Spain’s Jessica Bouzas Maneiro and Argentina’s Solana Sierra in singles matches. These matchups will mark the two-time Grand Slam singles champion’s first encounters with both players on the WTA Tour.
