Olivia Dunne traded her leotard for high fashion this month, landing a major magazine cover that signals her official transition from collegiate athlete to media mogul. But the former LSU gymnast didn’t celebrate alone. As Dunne unveiled her latest milestone, some of the NFL’s most prominent names were right there in the comments section to hype her up.
How Did Brittany Mahomes and Christen Goff React to the Cover?
Dunne, a three-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit star, graces the cover of Maxim’s Winter 2025 issue. She shared the striking image with her followers, featuring a look with a nylon jacket slipping off her shoulders and fitted patterned pants.
“winter cover girl @maximmag 🤍❄️ Shot by the iconic @gilles_bensimon can’t wait to share more xx,” Dunne wrote on Instagram.
Widely considered one of the greatest U.S. gymnasts, Dunne competed for the LSU Tigers for five seasons before retiring after her final collegiate year. Since stepping away from the mats, she shifted her focus to other ventures, including a modeling career that continues to grow.
Supporters flooded her comment section with messages as she started this new chapter, including notable women from the NFL world.
Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Patrick Mahomes and a longtime figure in the sports community, wrote, “so good🔥🔥🔥.”

Christen Goff, a successful model, former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit star, and wife of Jared Goff, shared her excitement with a simple message: “Livvy!!!!!!!!”
Why Is Olivia Dunne Speaking Out About NIL Inequality?
The road through the sports world isn’t easy, and Dunne faced plenty of challenges during her career. Even as she focuses on new business ventures, she remains committed to supporting the next generation of girls entering the industry. In her conversation with Maxim, she highlighted the inequality female athletes still face compared to their male counterparts.
“A recruit that hasn’t even touched foot on a campus yet gets paid $12 million by a booster. That’s not an NIL deal, that’s being paid to play,” Dunne said. “That would never, that would never happen with any women’s sport.”
Determined to spark change, Dunne created The Livvy Fund in 2023 to help young female athletes secure more brand opportunities. She explained to Maxim exactly how the process works for those following in her footsteps.
“It’s to help get NIL deals for the female student athletes. The brands I work with put money into a fund, and my sister will pair them up with a female student athlete who goes to LSU who wants to work.”
Dunne continues to inspire young girls stepping into sports. It’s cool to see the support she receives, especially from women like Mahomes and Goff, who understand her journey and celebrate her success.
