Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers won their most important game of the season so far. In a huge battle with the Chicago Bears for the NFC North lead, the Packers won 28-21 and put themselves in an excellent position to make the playoffs in a crowded conference.
Despite the huge win over a divisional rival, the Packers were unhappy with the referees. During the game, there appeared to be multiple instances when Parsons was held by the Bears’ linemen, but there was no penalty called, leading to frustrations from the defender.
Micah Parsons Calls Out Referees Following Missed Holding Calls Against Bears
The game was decided by a defensive play by Green Bay. An interception in the end zone near the end of the fourth quarter was the deciding play. But the Packers could’ve done much more to limit the Bears if not for many missed calls on Parsons.
In the locker room after the game, the defender was unhappy. He spoke to reporters about how he’s “immune” to getting a holding call against a blocker and how this has been the theme of his career since his time with the Dallas Cowboys:

A fan of the Packers put together an impressive stat after the game: despite linemen going above and beyond to block him, Parsons still has not drawn a holding call in the 2025 season. The tweet below contains a video of a clear holding.

Parsons is one of the best defensive players in the game, but his impact could’ve been even more impressive if some calls had gone his way. He’s currently ranked as the No. 5 edge defender in our PFSN EDGE Impact Metric for the 2025 season.
The Packers traded a lot of assets to acquire him, and his performances in 2025 are unquestionable. And it all happens with many missed calls by the referees. He has 12.5 sacks this season, the third-highest mark in the NFL, but you have to wonder whether he could’ve been closer to Myles Garrett at the top of the list if he wasn’t held so much.
