Carlos Alcaraz Will Be Headlining Miami

One of the exhibition events on Dec. 8 will take place in Miami, featuring world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz. The most eyeball-grabbing match of the event will be the Spaniard taking on the Brazilian sensation, Joao Fonseca, a matchup that is highly anticipated by fans and experts alike, but has yet to take place on the Tour. The world No.1 will already have played an exhibition event going into Miami, having played the event in New Jersey on Dec. 7.

The other half of the event in Miami will feature two top American players, Jessica Pegula and Amanda Anisimova, both of whom are coming off a great season in the 2025 season. The pair have already played once within the exhibition season, with Pegula winning 3-6, 7-6, 10-8 at the “A Racquet at The Rock” event in New Jersey. Their head-to-head on the Tour has also been in favor of Pegula, who has won all three of their meetings.

Following the two singles matches, a mixed doubles match is also scheduled to take place, featuring the four players at Loan Depot Park in Miami.

Aryna Sabalenka Will Be Making Her Madison Square Garden Debut

In the other exhibition match on Dec. 8, the top-ranked WTA player in the world, Aryna Sabalenka, will be taking center stage at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York, facing off against Naomi Osaka in a marquee clash. Both players have fond memories of New York, as they are two-time champions at the US Open. Their only WTA match happened at the New York Major back in 2018, which Osaka won.

The two already kicked off exhibition season with a match against each other at the Atlanta Cup, where the Belarusian won 6-3, 4-6, 10-4. The Japanese player has already shared pictures of her arrival in New York for the event.

Naomi Osaka reaches New York for the Garden Cup

The other match at the iconic venue will feature home favorite Tommy Paul taking on Nick Kyrgios. Kyrgios was in action at the Atlanta Cup as well, losing his match to Ben Shelton. On the Tour, the Australian has faced Paul twice, winning both their matches in Houston and Washington back in 2022. Similar to the Miami event, the two singles matches will be followed by a mixed doubles match featuring the four players at the Garden Cup.
