Westbrook had come into the night with averages of 13.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 42.5% from the field and 37.1% from three-point range in 22 games.

With their victory over the Heat, the Kings improved to 6-17 in 23 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Western Conference.
They also snapped a four-game losing streak (and are 3-10 in 13 games on the road).
Following Miami, the Kings will play their next game on Monday night when they visit the Indiana Pacers.

Westbrook is in his 18th NBA season out of UCLA.
The future Hall of Famer has also had stints with the LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder.

As for the Heat, they dropped to 14-10 in 24 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak (but still 10-3 at home).
Following the Kings, the Heat will play their next game on Tuesday night when they visit the Orlando Magic.
