Top 2026 NFL Draft Prospects

I use my sub-trait grade framework to sort players into brackets, and then have the autonomy to sort players within those brackets based on other notable factors such as production, medicals, off-field history, and more.

On this update of the 2026 NFL Draft Top 100 Big Board, we’ll go over a few major developments. First, Dante Moore and Fernando Mendoza have separated from Ty Simpson in the QB1 battle.

All three QB prospects grade as easy first-round picks on my scale, but Moore and Mendoza have reached a level of operational consistency that Simpson has struggled to match — particularly with his accuracy and situational precision.

It’s still my belief that Simpson is arguably the best processor of the group (all three are stellar mentally), but Simpson’s general freneticism and at-times volatile mechanical alignment on release has too often gotten in his own way this season, particularly against pressure.

Simpson already falls below Moore and Mendoza by way of raw talent, and his inferior accuracy profile just widens the gap. He’s still close to my Top 10, but Moore and Mendoza are a tier above as QB1 candidates in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Elsewhere on the latest update, the depth of the cornerback class was revealed, while newfound depth in the offensive line group also showed up.

There are 19 cornerbacks in my updated 2026 NFL Draft Top 100, and there are several others just outside the cut who could challenge for Top 100 real estate down the line. Mansoor Delane and Jermod McCoy still lead the group, but players like Chris Johnson, Brandon Cisse, and Hezekiah Masses are rising fast, and Treydan Stukes is a big sleeper.

On the offensive line, three new prospects — Trevor Goosby of Texas, Sam Hecht, and Keylan Rutledge, cracked the Top 100 this week, with Goosby opening inside the Top 50.

I hadn’t previously ranked Goosby due to a slow start and his outstanding eligibility, but he’s heated up down the stretch, and has the athleticism, physicality, and sense of timing to potentially command Round 1 capital if he declares.

Cashius Howell wasn’t too much for him; in fact, Goosby dominated that matchup with his range out of his kick and his overwhelming length.
