Ben Shelton, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz recently participated in their first practice session in Turin, Italy, ahead of the start of their campaigns at the 2025 ATP Finals. This year, Sinner and Alcaraz will be making their third consecutive appearance at the season-ending tournament, while Shelton will be competing for the first time.
The 2025 ATP Finals are set to take place from Nov. 9 to Nov. 16, 2025, on indoor hard courts at the Inalpi Arena in Turin. Besides Shelton, Sinner, and Alcaraz, other players who have already qualified for the tournament include Alexander Zverev, Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, and Alex de Minaur.

Shelton, Sinner, and Alcaraz most recently competed at the 2025 Paris Masters. The Spaniard had a forgettable outing at the tournament, losing his opening match to Cameron Norrie.
Meanwhile, at the ATP Masters 1000 hard court tournament in Paris, Shelton defeated Flavio Cobolli and Andrey Rublev in the second and third rounds, respectively, before falling to eventual champion Sinner in the quarterfinals.
Sinner, on the other hand, defeated Zizou Bergs, Francisco Cerúndolo, Shelton and Zverev to reach the final of the 2025 Paris Masters. There, he defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime to win the tournament, claiming his fifth ATP Masters 1000 title and his 23rd overall ATP Tour title. This victory also allowed him to regain the world No. 1 singles ranking from Alcaraz.
Following the conclusion of their run in Paris, Shelton, Sinner, and Alcaraz have traveled to Turin for the 2025 ATP Finals. Recently, the three players were spotted on the practice courts, training in preparation for the season-ending tournament.

Sinner will be defending his title at the 2025 ATP Finals. Last year, he was the top seed. He began his campaign by defeating the seventh seed, Alex de Minaur (6-3, 6-4), the fifth seed, Fritz (6-4, 6-4), and the fourth seed, Daniil Medvedev (6-3, 6-4), in the round-robin matches. In the semifinals, the Italian overcame sixth seed Casper Ruud (6-1, 6-2) and then defeated Fritz (6-4, 6-4) in the final to claim the tournament title.
Meanwhile, Alcaraz was seeded third at the 2024 ATP Finals. He began his campaign with a defeat (1-6, 5-7) against Ruud in his first round-robin match. He bounced back to triumph over eighth seed Andrey Rublev (6-3, 7-6(8)) in his second match, but his campaign ended with a loss (6-7(5), 4-6)Â to second seed Zverev in the third group stage match.
