Eric Singleton Jr.’s NFL Draft Potential
Eric Singleton Jr.’s ranking on my 2026 NFL Draft board, at this stage, is partly a projection — but there’s no denying how quickly Singleton adjusted and thrived at the Power Five level. He broke the 700-yard mark as a true freshman and true sophomore at Georgia Tech, and while his production has stagnated in Auburn’s hamstrung passing offense, Singleton himself has continued to show promise.
In PFSN’s CFB WRi database, Singleton has a healthy score above 80, and his RAC numbers in particular are strong. Per TruMedia, he’s averaging six yards of RAC per reception, and a full yard of RAC over expectation per catch. Those numbers track with what he showed at Georgia Tech.
While quarterback play has never been on Singleton’s side, he’s proven himself to be a universally alignment-versatile weapon with high value on schemed touches, drag routes, crossers, and slants on must-have downs.
At 5’10”, 180 pounds, Singleton is undersized, with lacking mass and length — but he compensates with electric short-area athleticism and quickness, along with blistering speed and explosiveness. Not only is that supercharged athleticism an asset after the catch, but Singleton has also proven he can use it to offset defenders and explode off breaks in man coverage, as well as carve into open zones. And while his play strength at the catch isn’t high-end, he’s flashed rare contortion and body control on high-difficulty attempts.
With Jackson Arnold limiting the Tigers’ passing offense, Singleton’s production will unfortunately continue to stagnate in 2025. Nevertheless, it’s easy to look past that and see that Singleton is an NFL talent, and potentially an early-round talent at that. He’ll operate best in space-oriented offenses that favor pre-snap motion and short RAC concepts, but he has enough speed to contend vertically and make high-flying grabs, too.
CFB Week 9 Update
Singleton only caught two passes in Auburn’s victory over Arkansas, but one of those passes was a high-flying grab in the deep third, where Singleton used his high-end body control, contortion, and hand-eye coordination to turn a 50-50 ball into 100% his.
With Jackson Arnold at quarterback, Singleton rarely saw those quality targets come his way, so the hope is that he’ll see more consistent target volume moving forward. When quality targets come his way, Singleton has shown he can convert, and he has unique versatility between being a RAC threat on designed touches and a true threat down the field.
Where Is Singleton Being Selected Most Often in the PFSN Mock Draft Simulator?
Singleton currently holds the No. 62 overall rank among prospects, positioning him as a Day 2 prospect. His most recent Average Draft Position (ADP) of 64.4 as of October 27 reflects that he is typically being selected on Day 2 or early Day 3.
This small gap between rank and ADP suggests he’s consistently valued among evaluators, even amid fluctuations in player evaluations at this stage of the draft cycle.
Users controlling the Atlanta Falcons have been the team that selected Singleton the most frequently over the past week, accounting for 1.1% of their picks across all seven rounds.
