It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached Week 10 of the college football season, but as the weeks pass, injuries to some of the nation’s top players are mounting. Here’s a look at several key players dealing with injuries ahead of Week 10 and their status for the weekend.
Week 10 College Football Injury Report
Arch Manning, QB, Texas
Arch Manning led Texas to a thrilling comeback against Mississippi State in Week 10, helping the Longhorns tie the game and force overtime. However, in the first overtime series, he took a big hit from a Bulldogs defender and was ruled out for the rest of the game.
This week, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian said Manning did not practice Monday and is in concussion protocol. He’s currently questionable for Texas’s Week 10 matchup with No. 9 Vanderbilt.
Manning is coming off his third-best performance of the 2025 season, according to PFSN’s CFB QBi metric. If he can’t go, the Longhorns will turn to redshirt senior Matthew Caldwell to take over at quarterback.
Cam Coleman, WR, Auburn
Cam Coleman is one of the most talented wide receivers in the country. However, there’s a real possibility he won’t play in Auburn’s Week 10 matchup with Kentucky after suffering an ankle sprain against Arkansas.
Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze said he’s “hopeful” Coleman won’t miss any time but noted that his status for Saturday remains uncertain.
Coleman hasn’t had the season many expected, currently ranking 131st among all college wideouts in PFSN’s CFB WRi metric. Still, his talent is undeniable, and the Tigers’ offense would take a noticeable hit without him.
Sam Leavitt, QB, Arizona State
Sam Leavitt has been battling injuries all season, already missing two games for the Sun Devils in 2025. Once again, his name appears on the injury report after he re-aggravated a foot injury in Arizona State’s Week 9 loss to Houston.
Head coach Kenny Dillingham said this isn’t a new injury for Leavitt and confirmed he’s been ruled out for the Sun Devils’ Week 10 matchup with Iowa State.
It’s a tough loss for Arizona State, as Leavitt has been impressive when healthy, ranking 35th among all college quarterbacks in PFSN’s CFB QBi metric. Jeff Simms will take the QB1 job in Leavitt’s place.
Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
Not only will Arizona State be without its starting quarterback in Week 10, but the team may also be missing its top wide receiver, Jordyn Tyson. Tyson sat out the Sun Devils’ Week 9 matchup with a hamstring injury and could also miss Saturday’s game against Iowa State.
Dllingham reportedly said Tyson is currently questionable, and the team will decide on his status after Thursday and Friday practices.
Tyson ranks as the nation’s 20th-best receiver this season, according to PFSN’s CFB WRi metric, so losing him on top of Leavitt would leave Arizona State’s offense in a tough spot heading into Week 10.
Cade Klubnik, QB, Clemson
Cade Klubnik missed Clemson’s Week 8 loss to SMU with an ankle injury. The Tigers were on bye in Week 9, giving their starting quarterback extra time to recover, and it appears there’s a strong chance he’ll be back for Week 10 against Duke.
Head coach Dabo Swinney reportedly said he’s “hopeful” to have Klubnik available this week and noted that the quarterback was close to playing against SMU but ultimately wasn’t ready.
Klubnik hasn’t quite lived up to his 2025 expectations, but he’s been solid overall, ranking 49th among all college quarterbacks in PFSN’s CFB QBi metric. If he returns, the Tigers will look to him to help spark a bounce-back performance after the SMU loss.
