Serena and Venus Williams Reveal Life Realities With Stockton Street
The Williams sisters, have launched their new podcast named ‘Stockton Street,’ which offers a heartfelt remembrance of their childhood home in Compton, California. The podcast is released on the social media platform X and is created in collaboration with Serena’s Nine Two Six Productions.
The podcast, therefore, sheds light on the realities faced by the sisters and the lessons they have learned on and off the court, among other significant things.
“As much as she’s my sister, she’s also my opponent, and you can’t be as open as you want to be. So this a real opportunity to do something that we’ve been trying to do, and also just a discovery thing as well,” Serena added, as per the WTA Tour via The Hollywood Reporter.
While reflecting on the podcast, Venus added:
“We want to give that sort of tough love, not only to each other, but that we had to give to ourselves. Life is very real. So the message has to be real. What we want to share is all the things we’ve done and gone through that everyone goes through, whether it’s winning or losing on and off the court.”
After overcoming chronic battles with uterine fibroids and adenomyosis, Venus returned to the court with the 2025 Washington Open, becoming the oldest player to clinch a tour singles match in over 21 years.
