Coco Gauff recently reacted to not being informed about an important career milestone for her younger brother, Codey. The World No. 3 is a big sister to two brothers, Codey and Cameron.
Coco is the oldest, followed by Codey, who was born on Sept. 21, 2007, and plays baseball. The youngest Gauff sibling, Cameron, born on Jun. 5, 2013, plays football and a little tennis as well. All three siblings are athletic, likely influenced by their parents’ backgrounds in sports.

Recently, Gauff’s mother, Candi, took to social media and shared that Codey had just completed his final baseball tournament with the San Diego Padres Scout team, where he played as a switch-hitting catcher. She expressed gratitude to his coaches and the organization for their contributions to Codey’s development over the past three years.
“@codeygauff Today was a bitter sweet moment in your baseball journey. Your last baseball tournament as a member of the San Diego Padres Scout team as a switch hitting catcher. Thank you to the coaches and organization for dedicating your time into developing Codey and his teammates over the past 3 years,” Candi captioned her Instagram post.
Candi congratulated Codey on three successful years with the San Diego Padres Scout team and said she looks forward to being his “greatest fan” in life and baseball.
“Traveling across the country over the summer, long days and nights, the laughter, the brotherhood, and the love of baseball will be an lasting imprint on your teenage years. Codey you are a leader, a loyal team mate, and just a great person. I love you and continue to live your passion. Congratulations to 3 memorable years. I am looking forward to being your greatest fan in life and in baseball. Let’s go! Next level in baseball loading!” she added.

Reacting to her mother’s post, Gauff expressed surprise at not being informed about her brother’s “last ride” with the San Diego Padres Scout team.
“dang why nobody told me it was the last ride,” Gauff commented.

In October 2024, Codey announced on social media his commitment to play baseball at Mizzou University, where he will begin college in the fall of 2025.

Earlier this year, while speaking on ‘Good Morning America,’ Gauff talked about the support she receives from her brothers, Codey and Cameron. She mentioned that Codey always encourages her to believe in herself, while her younger brother Cameron reminds her to be “joyful” in everything she does and to enjoy playing tennis.
“The support that I have is amazing. My brothers are the reason why I do it. Codey always reminds me of the belief and having that cockiness. Cameron always reminds me to just be joyful in the things I do. I truly learn a lot from everyone around me,” Gauff said.
The World No. 3 also expressed her gratitude to Codey and Cameron for “sacrificing” their time with their parents, Candi and Corey, so that they are able to travel with her as she competes around the world.
“The support that I have is amazing and especially my brothers sacrificing time with their parents cuz I have they, be there for me in those big moments and being so understanding means the world and I truly can’t do it without them,” she added.
Most recently, Gauff competed at the 2025 Wuhan Open, where she defeated compatriot Jessica Pegula in the final, securing her third WTA 1000 title and her 11th career WTA Tour singles title.
