Micah Parsons’ Stats and Highlights: How Did Packers Superstar Perform in Week 4 Revenge Game vs. Cowboys?

In his first game against the Dallas Cowboys since the trade to the Green Bay Packers, how did Micah Parsons fare in Week 4?

The first game back in Dallas for Micah Parsons, ever since he was traded by the Dallas Cowboys, was going to be an emotionally charged affair. Spending four years with the organization, Parsons developed into one of the most lethal defenders in the league. However, owner and general manager Jerry Jones refused to give him a contract extension this summer, instead spewing some ugly words about his tenure with the team.

It soured the relationship between player and franchise, leading to a trade request that was ultimately accepted, and Parsons became a Green Bay Packer just days before the start of the 2025 season. When the two sides met in Week 4 for a Sunday Night Football clash, the focus of the football world was on one specific player.

So, how did the four-time Pro Bowler fare in his first game at AT&T Stadium as a member of the road side?

How Did Micah Parsons Play Against the Dallas Cowboys?

The game between Dallas and Green Bay lived up to its billing, with both teams exchanging haymakers throughout the night. Even without superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys were able to give the Packers a run for their money.

When all was said and done after four quarters, the scoreboard read 37-37. Until that point, it had been a relatively quiet game for Parsons, who was facing constant double teams throughout the night.

As the game went to overtime, Dallas got the first offensive possession and marched down the field with relative ease. With a 2nd and Goal opportunity, Dak Prescott chose to scramble and had a direct path to the end zone.

That is when Parsons made the play of the game. Registering his first and only sack of the night, he was able to hold his former teammate and quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. He concluded the night with three total tackles.

Ultimately, it led to a field goal from the Cowboys. One that the Packers themselves were able to answer back. With time expiring in the overtime period as well, the game ended in a rare draw, with both sides tied at 40 apiece.

It marked the highest score for a tie between two teams since the NFL-AFL merger. In what was an intense game for both sides due to the history between them, the draw was a rare case where it felt like the best possible result, as neither team gave an inch throughout the game.
