What Are Ravens Fans Saying About Derrick Henry?

Henry was looking to get some running room when Detroit’s defensive standout Aiden Hutchinson popped the ball loose, which the Lions recovered. In the game, Henry only had 12 carries for 50 yards, and most of that came on a 28-yard touchdown run.

This marks three straight games with a fumble for Henry, which ties the longest streak of his career (also done in 2022). He has 11 fumbles lost in his career, and three is a season high, and he is up to three already this season, as evidenced.

Based on this play and how the game unfolded from there, Ravens fans were posting their emotions online. One fan said, “Drafted Derrick Henry in fantasy the year he fumbles every game”.

Another fan pointed out that Henry’s fumble issues have been prevalent this season. The fan wrote on X, “Henry has clearly become an issue for this Off. Three weeks in & 3 fumbles lost.” Speaking of fumbles, this fan had a problem with Henry’s ball-carrying skills and wrote, “Derrick Henry fumbled away another game, nice.”

What about Henry’s sleeves? This fan pointed out this matter and commented about Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, too. The fan wrote, “Derrick King Henry, lose the sleeves. I’m surprised Monken even let you wear them. He didn’t let skill players wear them when he coached us because of ball control. Get rid of em gang.”

For this Ravens fan, this comment was a little foreshadowing. The fan headed over to X and posted, “Derrick Henry gonna choke this game away for the Ravens, huh?” But this Baltimore supporter was more blunt in a comment and wrote, “Derrick Henry might be washed.”

This Ravens fan is ready to get Henry on a plane and back playing for the Tennessee Titans, whom he played for before coming to Baltimore. The fan wrote, “Henry can go pack his bags back to Tennessee”.

As for this Baltimore fan, the sentiment about letting Jackson and the offense trust him is shared: “Derrick Henry got shooting sleeves and keeps fumbling but hoping the team will still trust him,” with three laughing emojis added at the end for good measure.

Ravens Fans Let Henry Have It

One fan seemed to notice Henry losing his cool and wrote, “Derrick Henry too big to be throwing a temper tantrum.” The fumble issues are not lost on this Ravens fan at all: “Henry has clearly become an issue for this offense. Three weeks in & 3 fumbles lost.”

Oh, these Ravens fans brought out some sharp words for Henry while probably trying to stay away from sharp objects. This Baltimore fan wrote, “Damn Derrick Henry turning into a fumble machine”. More words about fumbles? You better believe it. This fan posted, “Derrick Henry too big for dat fumbling s**t”.

After watching Henry fumble the ball on the Hutchinson play, this fan wrote, “Derrick Henry is bout to fumble the Ravens season away.” Henry might not get much sleep after Monday night’s loss. This Ravens fan pointed that issue out: “DERRICK HENRY ANOTHER FUMBLE!! Oh wow, punched out. Poor guy isn’t going to sleep tonight thinking about that.”

Henry only averaged 4.16 yards per carry against Detroit after getting off to a slow start in the Ravens’ first two games of the 2025 NFL season. His effort on Monday night isn’t going to please him too much, either.

The Ravens star has as many fumbles in three games this season as he did in his prior 37 games combined. It’s the first time in Henry’s career that he has lost multiple fumbles in the fourth quarter of a season.
