Shortly before the start of the Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers game, running back Christian McCaffrey was seen on the field holding a new addition to his family. She was wearing her own tiny Niners jersey emblazoned with her daddy’s number.

McCaffrey and his wife, Olivia Culpo, welcomed their first child, Collette Annalise McCaffrey, into the world on July 13, 2025, and she’s already turning heads just like her parents.

The couple first announced their pregnancy in March and were the talk of social media in the immediate aftermath.
After Collette was born, everyone, including Brock Purdy’s wife, Jenna, chimed in to congratulate them on their daughter’s arrival.
The couple has been together since the spring of 2019, when McCaffrey was still with Carolina and mutual friends introduced them. They clicked immediately, and by October of that year, the two were married. Culpo even showed up at Panthers games wearing a replica of McCaffrey’s jersey.
Later, they were photographed vacationing together in Mexico, and in November of that year, their relationship was officially made official on Instagram. The couple got engaged in April 2023 and were married on June 29, 2024, at a chapel in Rhode Island.

As for the football side, McCaffrey entered the season after a trying 2024, riddled with injury. He entered training camp in 2025 with renewed determination to get back on the field and stay healthy.
The back went through training camp and the preseason with little to no restrictions, but did show up on the team’s injury report before the start of the season. Despite this, he had 31 touches in the Niners’ season-opening 17-13 win against the Seattle Seahawks.
Last week, against the Saints in New Orleans, the back was a bit quieter. He tallied 55 yards on 13 carries. He was more explosive as a receiver, hauling in six passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.
Entering Sunday’s action, McCaffrey has 35 total carries for 124 yards with no rushing scores.
