The Cincinnati Bengals didn’t need more bad news on Sunday as they were getting routed by the Minnesota Vikings in a road game. But they did get some as tight end Noah Fant had to leave the game.
Fant had five catches for 26 yards and no touchdowns.
What’s Happening with Noah Fant?
Fant had to leave the game and was being evaluated for a possible concussion. Later on, Fant was ruled out for the rest of the Vikings game with a concussion.
According to the Bengals, Fant’s return is questionable. But he had a very important turnover in the Vikings game, which led to another Minnesota touchdown.
Isaiah Rodgers picks up the fumble from Noah Fant, he has two TD’s!!
Bro the Bengals suck, this is actually unbelievable. Vikings defense is great.

The Vikings’ Isaiah Rodgers picked up the fumble and ran it back for a touchdown.
With Fant unable to be back in the game, the Bengals will have to look for another option at tight end. As if things could not get any worse for Cincinnati on Sunday, Fant’s inability to play again will be just another tough piece of news.
Fant played three seasons with the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks before entering his first season with Cincinnati. In his career, Fant has 307 receptions for 3,359 yards and 16 touchdowns.
He’s been a trustworthy starter throughout his NFL career. Fant knows that he can provide some solid support for the Bengals at a time they really need it. Cincinnati lost starting quarterback Joe Burrow for three months due to a turf toe injury and had Jake Browning running the Bengals’ offense on Sunday.
But Browning was not effective and Cincinnati was just totally getting dominated by Minnesota in all aspects of the game.
Fantasy Football Outllok For Fant
What is the fantasy football outlook for Fant this season? PFSN’s Kyle Soppe offered some thoughts on Fant.
“To be clear, Fant needs to develop into a fantasy option,” Soppe wrote. “He can’t simply do what he’s done in the past and expect it to matter. Across his career, he’s only seen an end zone target in 24.2% of them, and the cleanest way to overachieve at the position is to score at a high rate.
“Fantasy managers have been unwilling to roll the dice in any sort of consistent way, and I think that’s right. He’s not worth a look right now and doesn’t figure to be barring a change in how things are structured in Cincy (something I don’t expect given the money they’ve spent on keeping things status quo).
“That said, the fantasy managers who have the most success enter the season with nothing truly crossed off. Fant is unlikely to offer you much, if anything, in 2025. If you refuse to at least keep tabs on him, however, you stand to lose ground on your competition.”
