Felix Auger-Aliassime and New Wife Nina Ghaibi’s Moroccan Wedding’s 1st Glimpses Emerge

Felix Auger-Aliassime and Nina Ghaibi recently celebrated a special moment together in Morocco, marking a milestone in their relationship.

Canadian tennis star Felix Auger-Aliassime and his longtime partner, Nina Ghaibi, tied the knot in a private ceremony on Saturday in Marrakech, Morocco. The couple, who have been together since March 2019, exchanged vows in an intimate setting surrounded by close friends and family.

Notably, fellow Canadian tennis players Gabriel Diallo and Vasek Pospisil were among the attendees.

The wedding ceremony was shared on social media, with Canadian former tennis player Pospisil posting a clip of the couple all smiles at the altar on his Instagram stories.

Auger-Aliassime and Ghaibi got engaged in November 2024 during a romantic trip to the Seychelles, and their wedding in September 2025 marks the culmination of a six-year relationship. Ghaibi, an accomplished equestrian representing Morocco in international competitions, shares a notable family connection to tennis, as she is the cousin of Australian star Ajla Tomljanović.

Just days before Auger-Aliassime and Ghaibi’s celebration, fellow Canadian tennis star Denis Shapovalov married Swedish tennis professional Mirjam Björklund in a picturesque ceremony on September 9 in Zakynthos, Greece. The couple, who had been engaged since July 2023, exchanged vows at the Lesante Cape Hotel, overlooking the Ionian Sea.

Auger-Aliassime Opens Up About Life with Wife Ghaibi

In an interview with ATPTour.com last month, Auger-Aliassime said every relationship is different, but having his now-wife, Ghaibi, by his side has been invaluable. They met when he was 18, and she understands the demands of his tennis career.

“Everyone’s different. There are great players out there who are single, or looking, or not looking. It’s very personal. Relationships are so different from one person to the next. But for me personally, having Nina and having her by my side through this whole journey as a professional tennis player has meant a lot,” he said.

“I met her when I was 18 and she’s always been amazing when it comes to understanding what I have to go through. She supports me, listens and even gives me great advice, whether it’s about tennis or not. We really try to support each other in everything and at the same time, we’re best friends. It’s the best thing to have her in my life.”

Felix also noted that their relationship is built on support and friendship, helping each other in all aspects of life and providing stability amid the ups and downs of tennis. Despite busy schedules, they make it a point to see each other about every four weeks, with the Canadian visiting when he has breaks between tournaments.
