What Channel is Syracuse vs Clemson On After the Weather Delay?

According to a post from Chapel Fowler, “today’s Clemson-Syracuse game (which started at noon) will be shifting off ESPN and onto a different channel at 3:30 p.m. as the game hits about a 45-minute weather delay. TBD what channel the game will resume on when it does.”

According to the PFSN CFB Playoff Predictor, Clemson was heavily favored in the original matchup, giving the Tigers a 73.8% chance to win. However, Clemson currently trails 24-14 as the weather delay plays out.

Weather delays often force networks to adjust programming, especially during packed Saturday schedules. The network’s decision to move the game reflects standard protocol when delays threaten to push contests into other scheduled programming windows.

The broadcast uncertainty left fans scrambling to find where the remainder of the ACC matchup would air, with Syracuse holding a 24-14 advantage when play was paused.

The plan is to restart play around 3:45 p.m. ET if lightning holds off. The game’s new channel will be ESPN2.

How Have Clemson and Syracuse Performed So Far

Clemson entered this matchup desperately needing a bounce-back performance after a disappointing 1-2 start to the season. The defending ACC champions dropped their opener at home to LSU 17-10, rebounded with a 27-16 win over Troy, then fell 24-21 at Georgia Tech in ACC play.

Syracuse arrived at 2-1 following a mixed start under new quarterback Steve Angeli, a Notre Dame transfer. The Orange opened with a tough 45-26 loss to Tennessee before bouncing back with wins over UConn (27-20) and Colgate (66-24).

The current score represents a potential major upset brewing in Death Valley, with Syracuse looking to hand Clemson another crushing blow to their ACC title defense hopes.
