Arizona State vs. Baylor Head-to-Head Record
This is just the second meeting between these two teams, though that will change now that both teams are in the Big 12. The only meeting was a 34-13 win for Arizona State back in 1990, and so much has changed for both programs since then.
The Sun Devils were in the Pac-10 at that time, while the Bears were in the Southwest Conference. Now in the Big 12, both teams have high hopes for the rest of the season, but only one will feel good after this weekend.

Arizona State vs. Baylor Prediction
This was supposed to be a quarterback lover’s dream. While Baylor’s Sawyer Robertson is off to a hot start, his counterpart hasn’t seen the same success. Sam Leavitt led the Sun Devils to the College Football Playoff last year, but it’s been tough sledding for him in 2025.
Arizona State must find a pass catcher not named Jordyn Tyson to help Leavitt. The offense has struggled so far, but maybe playing against a porous Bears defense will help that. They can’t get caught in a track meet, though, unless someone emerges out wide.
Baylor’s offense is deep, and the talent seems to never end. Robertson must be focused against a good Sun Devils defense, but he’s shown that he can make throws against anyone so far this season.
Prediction: Baylor 30, Arizona State 23
