Last October, Carbi B. and Stefon Diggs stole the spotlight as rumors started linking the rapper to the New England Patriots’ wide receiver. Following months of speculation, the couple was spotted together multiple times, eventually confirming their relationship to the public.
However, Cardi B had an interesting update to share with fans, sending social media into a frenzy soon after.
Cardi B Confirms Major About Relationship With Stefon Diggs
In a new appearance on CBS Mornings on Sept. 17, Cardi B chose to make a big announcement about her and Diggs.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” Cardi told Gayle King. “I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
The rapper admitted that she’s in a good space and appreciated Diggs’s support. According to the 32-year-old, they’re both incredibly supportive of each other.

“I’m happy I feel like I’m in a good space,” Cardi added. “Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We like in the same space in our careers. You know what it is that I feel like we’re really great, we’re really the best at what we do.”
Speaking some more about Diggs, Cardi added, “He just makes me feel safe and very confident. And it makes you feel like you could take over the world.”
Furthermore, Cardi admitted to not telling her parents before the interview. “I felt like can I just say it on my own time, I’m not hiding.”
Cardi is due before her Little Miss Drama tour in February 2026. Fans were quick to support Cardi, many sending best wishes for her baby and her new album. Some were sure the new baby would bring luck to both Cardi and Diggs. That being said, there were rumors of a pregnancy weeks before Cardi confirmed the same on air.
Cardi Previously Complimented Diggs’ Work Ethic
In a previous interview with Billboard, Cardi opened up about dating someone in her 30s while also appreciating his work ethic.
“Personally, I’ll never complain about my job or about lack of sleep. I’m not super disciplined. I don’t really have a sleep schedule. I don’t ever like to map out my day. I don’t even like to schedule my month. It just overwhelms me. The one thing I’ve been learning is to be more organized and not complain.”
In awe of his schedule and discipline, Cardi added:
“He has to do two different things: learn his playbook and get physical. He has to be in bed at a certain time and wake up at a certain time. I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh. You’re literally in the military. You really work hard,’ I work hard, but I can take a little break. I can lay back and I don’t have to be running, but it’s very inspirational to see how hard somebody works. It’s just like, ‘Wow. You should be proud of yourself.'”
With the NFL season officially beginning and Cardi’s tour around the corner, one can certainly hope for more public appearances from the couple.
