‘It Looks Horrific’ — NFL RedZone Faces Backlash From Fans After Using New Graphics for Week 2 Coverage

NFL RedZone viewers were highly ticked off as they saw some new graphics pop up on their TV screens. What were they saying?

As NFL fans were settling in to watch another full slate of Sunday games, a number of them were upset about what they were seeing on NFL RedZone. Namely, they were not fans of a new border graphic on their TV sets.

Host Scott Hanson welcomed everyone to the NFL RedZone broadcast as usual, but the telecast then shifted to its regular weekly coverage of games. As it did so, a few new graphics were displayed. This didn’t sit well with viewers one bit.

Why Are Viewers Upset With NFL RedZone?

One fan was quite blunt in his opinion of the new graphics, writing on X, “What the f**k are these graphics on RedZone? Awful”.

Another fan was so upset that the person took a video of NFL RedZone’s early game coverage. Apparently, the viewer was absolutely beside himself about the border graphic around the games themselves.

“@redzone what the f**k is this frame around my screen? We’re not at the movie theaters take this s**t off” the fan wrote.

Some non-NFL RedZone fans might be wondering what all the subscribers are upset about. Well, one fan decided to show the new border with a social media post.

Another fan simply wrote, “Redzone is not full screen”. Were RedZone fans getting a bit tamer in their posts? Heavens no. This fan, again, decided to share his own blunt thoughts and wrote, “#Redzone get this s**t off my screen”.

This fan wanted the people who run NFL RedZone to do something, anything, and take this border off of their screen. The fan wrote, “Redzone wtf???? Fill sxreeen please”. And this NFL fan spoke directly to Hanson, thinking that the venerable host can work his magic to drop the nasty border. The person posted, “@ScottHanson what the hell is this border on Redzone. It looks horrific”.

A creative fan chose to pick up a “Sesame Street” GIF to help explain his disdain at seeing the borders. This fan wrote, “Omg please tell me these RedZone borders aren’t staying up there the whole day”.

This fan wants his full-screen NFL RedZone experience back right now. What did the fan write on X? “WHERE IS FULLSCREEN REDZONE? FIX IT NOW”. And one more fan pleads for Hanson to take immediate action and dump this border. The fan wrote, “Redzone, get rid of the border man.. @ScottHanson what are we doing”.

Let’s see if things change on the NFL RedZone broadcast throughout Sunday.
