Starting off 1-0, both the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Commanders have a singular goal in mind. When they kick off the second week of the 2025 NFL season with their Thursday Night matchup, the aim is to establish dominance in the NFC and become the first team to be 2-0 in the entire conference.
Both rosters looked dominant on opening night. However, with potential Super Bowl aspirations associated with the two teams, that hot streak is going to have to continue. Early in the season, this is going to be among the hardest tests that either team faces. The action kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET when the two sides face off at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. But when the Commanders travel to Titletown, how can fans listen in via radio?
Radio Stations for Commanders vs. Packers
Green Bay Packers Radio
The Packers Radio Network is among the most historic collections in the entire sport. Its expanse is surreal, with 54 different stations spread across Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, and the Dakotas.
However, the leader of the pack is undisputably 97.3 The Game – WRNW-Milwaukee, which is starting its fourth year as the flagship program on the network. The coverage is going to be led by play-by-play announcer Wayve Larrivee.
He will be joined by two former Green Bay stars, Larry McCarren in an analyst role, and John Kuhn in the front on the sidelines. Together, the two have five Pro Bowl appearances, with Kuhn leading the duo with three selections.
The former is considered among the greatest offensive linemen in Packers’ history and was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 1992. Kuhn, on the other hand, thoroughly outperformed his standing as an undrafted free agent signing by winning two Super Bowls during his time in the league, including Super Bowl XLV with Green Bay.
Washington Commanders Radio
The Commanders, on the other hand, have the BIG 100 (WBIG-FM) as the flagship station for their team across the Washington Broadcast Network. They’ll be led by the trio of Bram Weinstein in a play-by-play role, alongside London Fletcher acting as the analyst.

Meanwhile, Logan Paulsen will take the job on the sidelines. Similar to Kuhn, Paulsen was an undrafted free agent signed by the then-Washington Redskins in 2010, before spending the first six years of his career with the organization.
Fletcher, on the other hand, was a Super Bowl champion on the Greatest Show on Turf St. Louis Rams, and he made four Pro Bowl teams late in his career as a member of the Redskins.
