Tyreek Hill Faces Domestic Violence Allegations from Ex-Wife Keeta Vaccaro

According to the filings, the incidents began in early 2024. Vaccaro alleges that Hill shoved her to the floor, ripped off her necklace, causing a cut and a bruise, and, in one instance, threw her out of a house while locking the door behind her.

Other claims include physical attacks while she was pregnant, spitting, and repeated threats tied to financial and custody disputes. Vaccaro described Hill’s behavior in the filings as “extreme” and “outrageous,” saying it was beyond decency and intolerable in any community.

The NFL is aware of the court filings and confirmed that they will be looking into it.

“It’s standard policy for the league to review a matter such as this,” the league said in a statement released to NFL Network reporter Cameron Wolfe.

The couple officially separated in April 2025 following a domestic dispute at their Miami-area home. Police reports indicate the situation escalated to the point where Vaccaro’s mother called authorities out of fear for her granddaughter’s safety. Court documents also highlight accusations of financial disputes and coercive behavior, with both sides pointing fingers over alleged misuse of funds.

Hill has a history of off-field problems. In 2014, he entered a guilty plea to charges of domestic violence and battery by strangulation while attending college. In 2019, there was an investigation into possible child abuse, but no charges were brought against him.

Additional occurrences include a 2023 settlement for alleged assault and a 2024 complaint from a model who said he injured her leg.

Will Hill Get Suspended Due to the Allegations?

The NFL has suspended players in the past over alleged domestic violence, sometimes before any legal verdicts were reached. Considering this precedent, the league could review Hill’s case under its personal conduct policy, though no decision has been announced.

On the field, Hill played in Miami’s season-opening loss to the Indianapolis Colts, recording four catches for 40 yards.

Off the field, however, the spotlight is now on the allegations and the ongoing divorce, raising uncertainty about potential league discipline and his future with the Dolphins. This is certainly a situation worth monitoring going forward. With Hill’s name surfacing in trade rumors as of late, this situation and potential looming suspension could also complicate any trade talks that the Dolphins may have as the season progresses.

Neither Hill nor his attorney has publicly commented on the claims, and Vaccaro’s legal team has also declined to provide further statements. With the legal process still unfolding, both fans and analysts are waiting to see how the NFL will respond and whether Hill could face suspension or other consequences.
