ESPN NFL reporter Lisa Salters has been one of the most respected sideline reporters for a long time. Her updates and interviews during “Monday Night Football” have kept viewers and fans informed of what’s happening a lot. For Salters, though, her private life is in the spotlight.
Walters is currently dating Stephanie White, who is head coach of the WNBA’s Indiana Fever. That means White also coaches all-world WNBA star Caitlin Clark. But what’s happening in the relationship between Salters and White?
What’s Up With Lisa Salters Dating Stephanie White?
It’s not exactly clear when Salters and White started dating, but they have been together for some time. They share four teenage sons between them.
Of course, it might be something that the two want to keep out of the limelight about. Salters and White are high-profile people in their respective professions. But that’s not been the case. The couple have been open about it, even sharing pictures together of themselves on social media.

Salters originally joined ESPN back in 2000 as a general assignments reporter. Eventually, she moved up the ranks to start reporting on the network’s NBA games. She still does this along with her NFL duties, so Salters keeps a busy schedule over most of the year.
White has established herself as a stellar coach in the WNBA. She returned to coach the Fever before the 2025 season kicked off after Christie Sides was relieved of her duties. This year, White’s been in the spotlight, too, due to Clark’s incredible following.
Salters and White currently live in Nashville with their four children. White was previously married to Brent McCarty, who was a football player.
The couple appear to be quite comfortable letting the world know that they are together. NFL fans right now can get ready to see more of Salters on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” coverage. White’s working hard to keep the Fever in the running for a WNBA postseason spot.
Salters already picked up some camera time on ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” pregame show from Soldier Field in Chicago, where the Minnesota Vikings were playing the Chicago Bears. Viewers will be able to see Salters doing her reporting along the sidelines during the game.
As for White, she’s getting the Fever ready to face the WNBA powerhouse Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday night, Sept. 9, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Their careers mean a lot to both Salters and White, but they also get to share their lives together.
