How Much Prize Money Did the Eliminated Teams Earn at the US Open’s Mixed Doubles Event

The total prize pool for this year’s edition of the US Open is a whopping $90 million and that for the mixed doubles event is $2,360,000.

According to the official breakdown, the mixed doubles winners will receive $1,000,000 while the runners-up will pocket $400,000. The teams that will lose in the semifinalis will each get $200,000. Ben Shelton and Taylor Townsend are among the pairs who lost in the quarterfinals and they will receive $100,000.

Here are the pairs who were eliminated in the last eight of the mixed doubles event in Flushing Meadows:

  • Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev lost to Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula.
  • Caty McNally and Lorenzo Musetti lost to Casper Ruud and Iga Świątek.
  • Karolína Muchová and Andrey Rublev lost to Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori.
  • Ben Shelton and Taylor Townsend lost to Danielle Collins and Christian Harrison.

There were some popular pairs who lost in the first round of the tournament, including Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu, Novak Djokovic and Olga Danilovic, and Amanda Anisimova and Holger Rune. Each of these teams will bag a prize money of $20,000.

  • Belinda Bencic and Alexander Zverev lost to Danielle Collins and Christian Harrison.
  • Amanda Anisimova and Holger Rune lost to Ben Shelton and Taylor Townsend.
  • Reilly Opelka and Venus Williams lost to Karolina Muchova and Andrey Rublev.
  • Taylor Fritz and Elena Rybakina lost to Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori.

 

US Open 2025 Mixed Doubles Semifinalists

The semifinals will feature top seeds Draper and Pegula, the strong team of Ruud and Świątek, defending champs Errani and Vavassori, and the American duo of Collins and Harrison, who replaced Jannik Sinner and Kateřina Siniaková at the last moment.

The first semifinal will be between top seeds Draper and Pegula and third seeds Ruud and Świątek. The next fixture will Collins and Harrison take on Errani and Vavassori.
