Fantasy Football Sleepers for 2025 Include J.K. Dobbins, Marvin Mims Jr., and Emeka Egbuka

The key to fantasy football success is finding under-the-radar players who outperform their ADP. Draft these sleepers and win your league in 2025.

The 2025 fantasy football season is almost here! Every year, fantasy drafters look for great value picks — typically players with a lower average draft position (ADP), who have high potential for a big production season. These players can provide a significant return on investment and help you build a deep, championship-worthy roster. Here are some players to keep an eye on as you prepare for your fantasy football draft.

Denver Broncos

J.K. Dobbins, RB

J.K. Dobbins has been a talented but injury-plagued running back throughout his career. However, he finds himself in a great position to be a major sleeper this season.

The Denver Broncos have listed him as their starting running back for 2025. While his past health issues are a concern, his talent and opportunity cannot be ignored.

In a run-first offense under coach Sean Payton, Dobbins has a chance to be a workhorse. Last season, Dobbins eclipsed 900 rushing yards on 195 carries in just 13 games with the Chargers. He has proven to handle a bell-cow workload and is a decent pass catcher. Dobbins’ explosive running style in this Broncos offense could make him a reliable flex play with RB1 upside if he can remain healthy.

Denver Broncos

Marvin Mims Jr., WR

Another Denver Bronco who could be a significant sleeper is Marvin Mims Jr. The third-year receiver showed flashes of his potential late last season, finishing as the WR17 over the final eight weeks.

Mims currently hovers around WR52 in fantasy drafts. Now, with a full year of experience and a better rapport with quarterback Bo Nix, Mims is in a favorable position for a breakout. He is a dynamic playmaker who can stretch the field and create big plays. His late-season production should lead to an increased target share, making him an excellent late-round value who should easily outperform his ADP.

Mims placed second among all wide receivers in fantasy points per route run last season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Emeka Egbuka, WR

Emeka Egbuka is an intriguing rookie receiver with a strong path to fantasy relevance. Drafted 19th overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he joins a potent offense led by a veteran quarterback.

While the presence of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin might seem like a deterrent, a recent quote from Baker Mayfield suggests he’s impressed with the young receiver, calling him “the real deal.”

The Buccaneers have a history of supporting multiple fantasy-relevant receivers, and Egbuka’s skill set and ability to play all over the field could see him carving out a significant role. With his high draft capital and an offense that loves to throw, Egbuka has the potential to compete for the team lead in targets and have an impressive rookie season.

Houston Texans

Jayden Higgins, WR

Another rookie wideout makes the list of fantasy football sleepers. Jayden Higgins, drafted by the Houston Texans, presents a massive opportunity for fantasy managers.

With Stefon Diggs departing and a less-than-certain timetable for Tank Dell’s return from injury, the Texans’ receiving corps has an opening. Higgins, a 6’4”, 216-pound receiver, was listed as a starter on the Texans’ first unofficial depth chart. His ability to track the ball and adjust on the fly, combined with the presence of Nico Collins on the other side drawing attention from defenses, could give him plenty of space to make plays.

With a talented quarterback in C.J. Stroud, Higgins has an ideal setup to earn a significant workload as a rookie and be a late-round steal with considerable upside.
