The Patriots, meanwhile, came out firing to start their preseason. The franchise’s first game was a dominant 48-18 win over the Washington Commanders, which excited the fans. Drake Maye scored a rushing touchdown in the red zone, and the highlight was running back TreVeyon Henderson, who returned a kickoff for a touchdown.
