New England Patriots rookie TreVeyon Henderson set the Gillette Stadium crowd on fire with a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. It was the first time Henderson touched the ball in NFL preseason action, and he made the most of it.
Henderson took the ball at the Patriots’ goal line, steered left, then veered back across the field to the right around the Patriots’ 40-yard line. After that, the last person with a chance to catch him was the Washington Commanders’ kicker. That didn’t happen as Henderson just motored down the sidelines and right into the end zone.
Fans were ecstatic over Henderson’s touchdown, letting their feelings be known online.

For this fan, there was a warning to other NFL teams who look at Henderson’s play and gawk at his effort on Friday night.

Henderson was a second-round draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. He played a major role in helping the Buckeyes win the national championship last season. Now, Henderson will have a chance to show NFL fans more of his electric playing style.
