Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. Eastern. Malik Willis will reportedly get the start at quarterback for the Packers.

It’s the first NFL preseason game for both teams. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and Jets head coach Aaron Glenn get a chance to see how far their players have come during training camp.

What Time Does NFL Network Coverage Begin?

This preseason game will air on the NFL Network at 8 p.m. Eastern. If fans do not have the NFL Network, the Packers-Jets matchup will be streamed on NFL+. The NFL Network will reportedly provide analysis during halftime.

But the Packers-Jets game is part of a tripleheader on the network, giving Jets fans something to watch and focus on with Fields as the starting quarterback.

The New York Giants face the Buffalo Bills in the first game, which kicks off at 1 p.m. Eastern. Then, the Minnesota Vikings travel to Texas for a game against the Houston Texans at 4 p.m. Eastern.

The Packers-Jets matchup, with Jordan Love at quarterback for Green Bay, closes out the tripleheader. NFL GameDay Kickoff airs on the NFL Network at noon Eastern and 7 p.m. Eastern, offering fans a look at a busy NFL preseason schedule.

Who Are The Game Announcers For Packers-Jets?

Both teams have excellent broadcast crews with some network experience at the play-by-play spot. For the Packers, CBS Sports and Westwood One broadcaster Kevin Harlan will be calling the plays. The NFL Network has a history of airing the home team’s broadcast team, so look to see if this happens on Saturday.

Former Packers fullback John Kuhn will provide analysis, and Ashley Washburn of Milwaukee TV station WTMJ will be on the sidelines. Packers fans can tune into their 22-station affiliate network, as WTMJ and WGBA in Green Bay will work to show the contest.

As for the Green Bay radio call, Packers fans can tune into longtime play-by-play voice Wayne Larrivee and two-time Packers Pro Bowl star Larry McCarren will be on analysis.

For the Jets, CBS Sports broadcaster Ian Eagle will provide play-by-play calls while Anthony Becht is alongside for analysis. Otis Livingston and Caroline Hendershot will be on the sidelines, reporting about Jets’ players during the game.

New York metropolitan area fans can watch the Packets-Jets showdown on WCBS. For those living outside the New York metro area, their best bet is to watch it on the NFL Network.

On the radio for the Jets, the game will be available on WEPN-FM, ESPN New York 98.7.
