Analysts regard George Kittle as one of the top tight ends in the NFL, and his offseason left little to complain about, especially after signing a contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers that made him the highest-paid tight end in the league.
But beyond football, Kittle is a well-known fan of professional wrestling and the WWE. In a recent interview, he revealed plans to take on a wrestler whom he described as disrespectful to his opponents, even stating that he already has a strategy for how to defeat him.

Kittle’s life outside the NFL is always one of the most entertaining to follow in the media, thanks to his playful and outgoing personality, which shines through in every event and appearance, including his recent interview with Kay Adams on the “Up & Adams Show.”
The tight end recently attended a golf event and took down The Miz with a kick that showed off his athleticism. When asked who he’d want to face next and take a championship belt from, Kittle didn’t dodge the question.

“Oh, to take a belt from, that’s a really good one. I’m going to, let’s see, I’m going to avoid all the ‘Usos’ and the ‘Roman Reigns’ because those guys travel in packs. I’m going to avoid that whole thing,” Kittle said.
His love for the WWE is well known among NFL fans. He’s often seen attending events and even received a mask from wrestler Penta before the Monday Night Football game in Mexico against the Arizona Cardinals in 2022.

After listing who he’d rather not face, Kittle revealed he’s never been much of a fan of Gunther. While he respects him as a wrestler, he doesn’t like how disrespectful he is toward his opponents and said he’d love the chance to face him.
“I wasn’t really a fan of the guy Gunther, you know, hell of a wrestler. But, I think he’s pretty disrespectful to everybody that he wrestles, and he thinks he’s better than everybody else. So, maybe he could get in one of these days, but like I said, he is an incredible wrestler. So I would have to do some training for his butt. Surprise attacks are always fun.”
Gunther, an Austrian wrestler and current heavyweight champion, would be a challenge for Kittle, but one he’d gladly accept with the proper training.
