Boulter and de Minaur first locked eyes not across a tennis court, but at a hotel’s breakfast table during the early COVID era. The pair bumped into each other early in the morning and bonded over a coffee. Boulter later said that “from that moment, I knew I was in it for the long haul”.

Both players frequently credit each other as sources of strength. Boulter recently called de Minaur her “rock” during tough tournaments, while he describes her as his “happy place” who helps him focus on the joy of the process. The couple are now planning a wedding in a “neutral venue” in 2026.
