Is Ja’Marr Chase the Best Wide Receiver in the NFL?
When asked where he stands among the league’s best wide receivers, Chase didn’t dodge the question during his appearance on “The Sitdown w/ Malik Wright.” He didn’t brag or complain. He was straightforward.
“I would agree. I wouldn’t talk about myself. Know everybody going to have a opinion on ranking me. Yeah. But at the end of the day, I’m putting myself on the pedestal. You know what I’m saying? So I keep the most confidence,” Chase said.

You’d expect a player who has accomplished what he has to carry that mentality. Since joining the league in 2021, Chase has grabbed attention and left defensive backs chasing shadows. From winning Offensive Rookie of the Year to earning Pro Bowl selections and First Team All-Pro honors, his career has been explosive from day one.
But 2024? That was something different.
Chase didn’t just dominate; he led the league in all major receiving categories with 1,708 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 127 receptions. Winning the Triple Crown is a rare accomplishment, and it’s even rarer when Chase brings that same level of skill to the field every Sunday.
Even though Saquon Barkley’s 2,000-plus rushing yards cost him the Offensive Player of the Year award, Chase was definitely in the conversation throughout the season.
