Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been making headlines since he won the Heisman Trophy and the College Football Playoff National Championship while at LSU.
Since being drafted first overall in 2020, Burrow has been blowing minds and frustrating defenses all over the NFL. He has led the league in numerous categories, including passing yards, passing touchdowns, and completion percentage. He has been named to two Pro Bowls and has twice been the NFL Comeback Player of the Year. That’s why it is no surprise that everyone wants to sneak a peek at his love life.
Bengals Star Joe Burrow Has a New Love Interest With a Familiar First Name
At 28 years old, Burrow is one of the NFL’s highest-paid players and among the most eligible bachelors. He was linked to influencer Olivia Holzmacher throughout college and into the start of his NFL career. The two met while at Ohio State and started dating in 2017. The news that they had broken up surfaced in December 2024 after Burrow’s house was broken into.
The break-in was reported by influencer and model Olivia Ponton (Burrow must have a soft spot for the name), who arrived at his home and found the bedroom window smashed and the room tossed. Burrow was out of town for a game against the Dallas Cowboys. Ponton told police she was Burrow’s employee, leading to rumors that he was hooking up with his personal assistant.
Shortly after his home burglary, Burrow spoke about the incident in a press conference. “I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one.” He confessed, “Way more is out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that.”
“We live a public life, and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy,” Burrow explained. “That has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career. Still learning. But I understand it’s the life that we choose. Doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.”
Ponton’s involvement led to the realization that Burrow and Holzmacher hadn’t been seen together since the beginning of the year. Rumors began to circulate that Ponton and Burrow had been hooking up for months.

While neither Burrow nor Ponton has officially confirmed their relationship or her employment status, their actions seem to be a declaration in their own right.
In June 2025, they were spotted visiting several celebrity hotspots in and around Manhattan. Burrow was dressed in baggy jeans and a short-sleeved hooded sweatshirt, while Ponton wore black shorts with a flowy white top. They ultimately ended the night at Ponton’s apartment at about 3:00 a.m.
Ponton, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, was also seen with Burrow back in May of 2025 when the two attended the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
While Burrow may not care for all the public attention, with weeks to go until the start of training camp, his love life presents an interesting topic for fans awaiting the beginning of the season.
